Lost? Confused? Need a hand? You’ve come to the right place.
Easy. Though apparently not so easy that a few of you haven't been confused. So to help out, we created this handy tutorial, which explains everything you need to know.
For more help with the details, we put together this handy little video tutorial:
Absolutely. You can have a private screening if you have a members-only group or organization, or if you are showing SHM at a private club or home.
Take a look at any private event on the site (see www.superhighmemovie.com/sample/screenings/. We list the city and state, and any event title, etc, but the street address remains hidden for all private events. No one will show up at your doorstep, unless of course you list the address yourself in the body of your event page.
You can order the Screening DVD once you have submitted your event and it has been approved. You will receive an email notifying you that your event has been approved. Once your event is approved, you will be able to order your DVD directly from your private event page.
See this screenshot for an example of what you will see.

Click on Add to Cart for the Screening Kit DVD, fill out your shipping and credit card info, and check out. That's it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: make sure you select a shipping method that will guarantee your DVD's arrival prior to your screening date. Don't cut it too close -- you don't want your event to arrive with no DVD to screen.
We use UPS for domestic shipping. It costs a bit more, but 3-day actually arrives in 3 business days, 2-day in 2 days, etc. UPS Ground should arrive in 4 business days, but is not guaranteed.
IT IS UP TO YOU TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHIPPING METHOD. If you have a large group of people depending on you, don't be cheap and try to save $3 by choosing the wrong method. In a pinch, you can ship next-day air, but it's expensive.
If your DVD has not arrived and you think it should have, drop us a line any time at superhighme@bside.com.
You can log in here, or click My Event Login on the left side of any page under the SHARE IT menu.
No sweat. If you forgot your username or password, go here, or on the login page click forgot username or password.
There are no screening charges to host a Roll Your Own event. The only charges are a $2.95 service charge, plus actual shipping charges.
Rolling Your Own Screening is free, in that you do not have to pay a screening fee of any kind. This is a pretty radical idea -- you can't just host your own premiere of any movie, especially before it comes out on DVD. Here's the deal.
Bottom line is you get to see Super High Me as part of a historical, nationwide grassroots event. Plus you get to keep the DVD. Seems like a pretty fair deal when you think about it.
Nope. It's all yours. All we ask is that if you love Super High Me as much as we think you will, tell everyone you know about it.
When you are logged in to edit your event, click on Manage, and you will see a link to your event. Click on View and you will be taken to your event page.
You can copy and past the page URL into an email to tell other people about your event. Or, you can click on the Share This link on any page, which will let you send an email, SMS, or post to Facebook, MySpace, digg, or other sites.
Super High Me will be released on DVD on June 19. Starting Friday, you can pre-order the DVD here on this web site. Everyone who hosts or attends a Roll Your Own Screening event will receive a coupon code for a discount on DVD pre-orders, as well as t-shirts, posters and other cool Super High Me stuff.
The idea here is that we're trying to build fans for the movie, and it turns out that a lot of people really want to be able to experience Super High Me on 4/20 in a private setting. Go figure.
Some of the private events are 20 people together in a living room, others are 200+ seat events that happen to be invite-only because, for example, they are members-only organizations. Or, for another example, a couple getting married on 4/20 is showing Super High Me at their reception (no kidding).
We think the Roll Your Own program offers a more memorable experience for most people than sitting in a stale multiplex and paying $8 for popcorn. So far, at least 1,500 people agree, and have signed up to Roll Their Own Screening. The projected attendance at all of the events is currently north of 40,000.
Every page on the Super High Me site includes a Share This link. Clicking on the link will let you send an email or SMS, or post a link to Facebook, MySpace, digg, or other sites.
